|Marathon Relay | 4ppl||TBD||TBD|
The Big International Marathon is a point-to-point course run on scenic CA Highway 1 from Big Sur to Carmel the last Sunday each April. Towering redwoods, crashing waves, coastal mountains and verdant pastures are featured on this bucket list course. The centerpiece of the course is the iconic Bixby Bridge, located at the halfway point of the race, where you’ll be greeted by a tuxedo-ed musician playing a Yamaha Baby Grand Piano.
Why We Love It
The city of Monterey is located within the rugged region of Big Sur. Blending outdoor activity with beach relaxation, it is best known for scenic views, the Pacific Coast Highway (or Highway 1), 17-Mile Drive, water adventure, sea otters, and Pebble Beach Golf Links. Also worth a visit is the tucked away area of Carmel, home to vineyards, inns, and exceptionally dog-friendly establishments.
