Come experience one of the most scenic events in California, “Run Long Beach”. Starting in Downtown Long Beach, runners head towards the historic Queen Mary and then through Shoreline Village. After running next to the Pacific Ocean on the flat beach path, half marathoners will continue down Ocean Boulevard while full marathoners veer right and head through Belmont Shore toward Marine Stadium.
Why We Love It
Long Beach, a beach town just South of LA, is known for its no-surfing beaches, urban waterfront attractions, and the Toyota Grand Pix of Long Beach (drag racing). This bike-friendly town is home to numerous music and cultural festivals, and plenty of water activities such as windsurfing, whale-watching, or kayaking around the canals of Naples Island. Be sure to check out the Queen Mary, a boat turned haunted hotel and tourist attraction.
